Screwless Connection Technique
The Quick Connect range is an integral part of the innovative and technically advanced product range of Bals. Most of the products are VDE approved and are fully in compliance with the international safety regulations. Quick Connect defines a new standard of screwless connection design. Bals Quick Connect TE plugs and sockets have been developed for hazardous environments. They always have nickel-plated contacts, high-temperature resistant contact carriers and all external metal parts are out of rust-proof material. Plug and connector have been especially designed to give a better grip during insertion or withdrawal of the devices. for ease of wiring and quick assembly the terminals are in the open position on delivery. By simply pushing down the contact with fingertip the conductor is locked into position. The use of cable end ferrules is not necessary. Damage-free wiring of the conductor, during the wiring and during the whole lifetime of the product (spring clamp technique) Universal application, the spring clamp has no restrictions concerning the different types of conductors or diameters Periodical maintenance work, necessary to screw type terminals, are no longer necessary
